"The first time I used this, I splashed it on my face like I've done with other toners. Wow, immediately it started to burn my skin, so I washed it off. Then I read the directions and discovered you're supposed to shake it first, so goodness knows what was at the top. You're supposed to use a cotton ball and put some on, wipe it on, and then rinse it off. This was a little bit different than I had expected, but just be prepared that you do not want this anywhere near your eyes for sure."

"I LOVE that this comes in a glass bottle and not plastic. I would caution those with sensitive skin to start slow and use it sparingly. It works great, but I started out using it once every other day until my skin adjusted. Now I use it only at night, after I wash my face to remove any residual makeup. If I do not wear makeup that day, I will skip it. This seems to work well for my crazy sensitive skin."

I just purchased this toner about a week ago and I use it daily after using the gentle cleanser. My skin has a stinging/tingly sensation after using…is this normal?
