Ingredient Disclosure

Pour 1/2 capful (1 oz.) in high-efficiency machines. For standard machines or larger loads, use one full cap. For best aromatic results, wash on cold and dry on low heat. For extra post-wash whiffs, toss Zum Wool Balls in when it's time to hit the dryer.

Lotsa spots!!

"I’ve been a Zum customer for several years. Patchouli is my absolute favorite. I waited a year to reorder when they were out of patchouli. Paid $25 for 4 bottles and was so excited to get back to my favorite scent. My clothes are COVERED in spots and smears. Not little dabs but big, wide spots. I don’t know what has happened to this formula. Ive always diluted my capfuls way down with water before adding. I’ve had a few tiny spots in the past on very few clothes, easily removed with Dawn and hot water. I cannot remove these stains with ANYTHING and it has ruined several items. This is, besides very costly, very disappointing. I’ve attached a few pictures and this isn’t the worst of them. I will be asking for a refund n the 3 unopened bottles 😢"

Love - Have used for 10 years

"My favorite for a decade. Makes my whole house smell amazing and people are always asking me what scent I'm wearing. I stopped using it while it wasn't available and when I pulled out my winter clothes from storage, they still smelled like patchouli from the previous year. I was soooo happy to smell that scent again. Now that it's back, I'm back to using it regularly."

Not for me.

"I always saw that this scent was always sold out, so when it finally became available online, I had to smell what the hype was about. I love my Zum products (Frankincense and Myrrh is my absolute fav!), but this scent was not for me. I can't describe what it smells like. . . all I know is I rewashed all laundry/linens used with Patchouli because it had a yucky/dirty smell, in my opinion."

Love the product

"I absolutely love the patchouli laundry soap makes my clothes smell great and they come out super soft, even if I air dry. The price is steep, but they have to pay for the access packaging so I guess it balances. And while I love that, they send samples of soap I couldn’t use them and had to throw them away because the only scent I can do is patchouli and I’m lucky I didn’t get sick from the extra scents they sent."

Hardly Any Scent Compared to Old Formula

"I was so excited to see that Patchouli laundry soap was available again, although at a higher price than the other laundry soaps. Ordered two jugs. Was so disappointed when I used the new formula, as it has very little scent, compared to an older Patchouli jug that I have been hoarding for a long time. Sad to say that I will not buy this again."

"Not a fragrant as previous formulations but still great scent and cleaning power. Fulfilled by Amazon and 2 of 6 bottles ordered had leaked in transit. Sample soaps are also unlabeled. If you like them and want to order more, good luck figuring out what they are."

Not sure what happened to

"Not sure what happened to this formula. It is thin and does not smell at all like it did in the past. It has a water like consistency with no thickness to it. The smell is awful. This used to be my favorite scent. I had a bottle from a long time ago and this smells nothing like it. Will not be purchasing again."

Waited a year!

"I waited a year for Patchouli to come back in stock. . . I was so excited when it arrived, I stripped my bed and washed my sheets and blanket. I thought I would be sleeping amongst the smell I so waited for. . . so disappointed, although the room had a very slight scent, the sheets barely. ."

Hi! Will the Patchouli laundry soap come back? I hope so because it’s my favorite. I saved it and only used it for my delicate cycles. But my teenager discovered it and used all of my stash to wash all of his clothes! Nothing is as good as the patchouli! Please bring it back!

Where has this scent went? I can’t seem to purchase it anywhere anymore?
Hello, Due to a shortfall in crop there is a shortage of Patchouli essential oils, so we're having a hard time getting supply! For now, we are keeping the 64 oz size on our website while we look to find more!
Does your fragrance contain any artificial fragrance or something other than essential oils? Or is it all essential oils only? Thank you!
Hi Shelby, Our Patchouli blend only contains essential oils! Our Frankincense and Amber blends do contain a trace amount of paraben-free, phthalate-free fragrance oil.
Can I get the full ingredient list of your Zum Patchouli? I had any allergy reaction to it and I should be ok with the ingredients. Are there other essential oils other than patchouli in it? What else is in the fragrance?
