Pump won't open so we can use the soap

"LOVE this soap, BUT I'm not buying it anymore because I am unable to get the pump to work on EVERY single bottle I buy. I get them from my local grocery store, so I don't know if that makes a difference, but it's so frustrating, I give up. The pump won't pop up so I can use it. I have to unscrew and drip the soap onto my hand from the straw."
