Marketing Manager - Body Care
Location: This is a full-time, in-person position based at Indigo Wild headquarters, located at 3125 Wyandotte Street, Kansas City, MO 64111. Due to the cross-functional and collaborative nature of the role, regular on-site presence is required.
Reports To: Director of Marketing
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a consumer-obsessed, strategic, and collaborative Marketing Manager to drive growth across our body care portfolio. This role serves as the internal expert on the consumer and category, leveraging insights, trends, competitive intelligence, and business performance data to identify growth opportunities and shape marketing
strategies.
The Marketing Manager will lead category marketing and commercialization initiatives from concept through launch, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Innovation, and Marketing teams to bring products and programs to market successfully. This individual will help guide decisions across the marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion), developing recommendations that support revenue growth, strengthen brand equity, and enhance the consumer experience.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong execution, thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and enjoys influencing cross functional teams to deliver business results.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Category Marketing
- Serve as the internal expert on the body care category, including consumer trends, competitive landscape, whitespace opportunities, pricing dynamics, merchandising, retailer environments, and emerging market trends.
- Develop a deep understanding of the target consumer, including motivations, behaviors, routines, preferences, and evolving wellness and fragrance trends.
- Develop recommendations across Product, Price, Place, and Promotion to support category growth and business performance.
Commercialization & Cross-Functional Management
- Lead cross-functional commercialization efforts for new products, seasonal programs, and portfolio initiatives from concept through launch.
- Serve as key connector across Sales, Innovation, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of category priorities.
- Develop and manage project timelines, facilitate decision-making, and proactively remove obstacles to keep initiatives on track.
- Partner with the Sales team to develop compelling retailer presentations, sell stories, category narratives, and growth recommendations.
- Support distribution expansion, innovation sell-in efforts, and retailer-specific activation strategies.
- Contribute to achievement of category revenue, profitability, and growth objectives through strong planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Marketing Activation
- Develop integrated marketing plans that bring category strategies to life across owned, earned, paid, retail, and shopper channels.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop activation programs.
- Support media planning and activation efforts tied to launches, seasonal campaigns, and key business initiatives.
- Monitor campaign and launch performance, identifying opportunities to optimize effectiveness and improve return on investment.
Consumer Engagement & Insights
- Monitor and engage with consumer sentiment, feedback, reviews, social conversations, and emerging trends to identify opportunities and actionable insights.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop engaging content, consumer education, and storytelling that strengthens brand affinity and drives trial.
- Support influencer partnerships, sampling programs, and community-building initiatives that deepen consumer relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in marketing, category marketing, shopper/customer marketing, social/community management, or related CPG roles
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, trends, and competitive dynamics
- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for both retailer and consumer audiences
- Passion for consumer brands, wellness, body care, and creating meaningful consumer experiences
- Demonstrated experience managing product portfolios, category performance, or P&L-related business objectives

Sales Analyst
Location: This is an in-person role 3125 Wyandotte St. Kansas City, MO 64111
THE ROLE
As a Sales Analyst at Indigo Wild, you'll play a key role in supporting Zum’s continued growth by analyzing sales trends, identifying opportunities in the natural and specialty retail space, and providing actionable insights to our Sales and Marketing teams. You’ll help us better understand performance across channels — from wholesale to e-commerce to national retailers — and use data to drive decisions that get more Zum into more hands. You will use actionable data to elevate our retailer relationships by providing key analytical and selling support that will drive category growth. The ideal candidate has Sales Analyst experience with other CPG companies, and is a disciplined, detail-oriented individual who understands working with internal and external partners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze retail sales data (e.g., POS, syndicated data, DTC, wholesale orders) to identify trends, performance drivers, and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers to support internal teams and retail partners.
- Monitor inventory levels and sell-through rates at key accounts to support forecasting and replenishment planning.
- Evaluate promotions, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns to measure ROI and sales impact.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to provide insights that inform merchandising, account planning, and product launches.
- Support new item setup, pricing sheets, and sales presentations with data-driven insights.
- Work with data from sources such as SPINS, Nielsen, Amazon, Shopify, and retail partner portals.
- Assist with sales forecasting and annual planning based on historical data, seasonality, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in sales analysis, business intelligence, or CPG data analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar a plus.
- Familiarity with CPG sales channels including natural/specialty retail (e.g., Whole Foods, Sprouts), FDMC, e-commerce, and Amazon.
- Experience working with syndicated data (e.g., SPINS, Nielsen).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

HR Generalist

THE ROLE
We’re looking for a self-motivated and creative HR Generalist to lead our People Strategy, including conducting full-cycle recruitment efforts, employee onboarding, employee engagement, recognition programs, benefits/health & wellness initiatives, performance management & development and respond to daily HR-related inquiries. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who really enjoys recruiting, as well as planning and executing ongoing activities to promote a positive and thriving company culture.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs to develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, resume screening, interviews, offers, employee screenings and onboarding activities
- Develops and implements employer brand strategies and activities for candidate engagement
- Develop and manage market pay evaluations and annual performance evaluations & development process
- Support creation of Company, Function/Role and Individual development programs
- Develop and implement employee engagement and pulse surveys ensuring that those are effectively communicated for optimal participation
- Analyze survey results to develop and implement action plans
- Assess the current state of existing recognition and rewards programs; analyze gaps and needs
- Research best practices for recognition programs and develop program proposals that drive behaviors aligned with company values and expectations
- Assist with employee benefits programs, including procurement, development, enrollment and administration
- Provide HR guidance and support to employees regarding policies and procedures
- Manage all HR-related files and documentation
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- 2-3 years of progressive full-cycle recruiting/experience
- Proven experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on recruiting
