Where do all natural Zum Bar soaps come from?

Every day, we make a big to-do about our all natural Zum Bar soaps. We start with goats milk since it's naturally homogenized and provides for a pH balance similar to your skin. This means it won't dry your skin or leave it feeling oily. We add lots of pure essential oils for extreme whiffability. Then, we pull a voilà - the cold processed soap method naturally produces glycerin, which acts as a humectant to bring moisture to the skin. Unlike those mass-produced commercial bars that dry out your skin, we keep the glycerin in the soap. Finally, we make the soap super phat by superfatting the batch with even more oils.

Making all natural Zum Bar soap is a bit like making our other products - all natural ingredients all the way around. That said, here are some other official product ingredients that make us extremely proud:

Shea butter comes from the nut of the African karite tree and pulls triple duty - soothing, moisturizing and protecting the skin with Vitamins A and E. Of course, many of our products don't fall far from the all natural shea butter tree.

Meadowfoam seed oil comes from the cute and puffy meadowfoam flower. Chosen for its reputation as a triglyceride, it wastes no time dilly-dallying on top of the skin. Its all natural goodness sinks in way deep, way fast, and doesn't clog pores.

Certified organic botanical extracts come in a wide, wide array and provide many of our products' benefits. Each extract is hand-selected for its specific qualities. Check out our all natural ingredients and you'll extract angelica, calendula, sea kelp, chamomile and more.
